Project
Renovation Verona, year 2012
Category
Architectural services
Place
Verona
Short description
The renovation project combined two architectural services in a single project: structural intervention on the one hand, and an in-depth study of the spaces and interior design on the other.
The firm oversaw the renovation work, paying particular attention to the renovation and modification of the roofing, including the insertion of wooden overhangs. The roof renovation project therefore increased the covered area through the addition of a wooden beam structure, overhanging the existing one. Another structural intervention was the partial demolition of a load-bearing wall made of river pebbles to expand the surface area and incorporate an existing loggia with arched openings.
The interior design project sought to fulfill the client’s brief: to create a 104-square-meter apartment consisting of a 37-square-meter living area comprising a living room, eat-in kitchen, bathroom, and laundry room. The sleeping area is divided into three generously sized bedrooms, one with en-suite bathroom and a master bedroom with en-suite bathroom and walk-in closet.
This opportunity allowed us to manage and configure the lighting system for all the rooms in the home.
