The use of 3D representation is a technique that allows a project to be visualized in three dimensions through a realistic reproduction that is as faithful to reality as possible. What is meant by 3D modeling and rendering?

This second step is made possible by numerous plug-ins available, such as Vray, Enscape, and Twilight, which allow you to select materials and insert lighting points into the project.
Revit
Thanks to its BIM system, Revit software, part of the Autodesk group, allows you to create a complete 3D project in every aspect: from the building design to the structural elements and details, such as a handle or a piece of furniture. Unlike the previous program, it does not require additional engines to create a final rendering; instead, it has an integrated engine that offers realistic 3D views. However, for even better and more realistic renderings, it is best to export the images to another program, such as Cinema 4D, which will only handle post-production.
3D Studio Max
This program, also part of the Autodesk program category, is undoubtedly one of the best programs for those working in the field of planning and design. 3D Studio Max allows you to create high-quality 3D models and architectural renderings, thanks also to the integrated Arnold rendering engine. It does not require any external engines, as its package includes all the necessary functions: choosing materials, lighting, and textures.
Lumion
The penultimate software is Lumion. Commonly used for creating outdoor environments and lighting, it is a fairly simple and intuitive program that allows you to obtain a 3D modeling rendering with realistic effects by adding objects or materials from the integrated library. It is primarily used for its atmospheric settings, realistic materials, and its ability to integrate with many CAD software.
Kerkythea
The final 3D modeling program is Kerkythea. Unlike the others, it is free software that allows you to create high-quality projects on par with those listed above. It uses physically accurate materials and lights, allowing you to create highly realistic and lifelike rendering scenes. There is a plug-in compatible with the aforementioned rendering program SketchUp, should you want to start from a simpler and more intuitive base.
The final step to achieving a realistic and truthful image is a post-production process, which involves processing the image in Photoshop. This will give it that extra something.
